CIT PROGRAM, a Ukrainian developer of battlefield‑proven electronic warfare (EW), air‑defense and UAV technologies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Intersoft Electronics, a leading Belgian radar technology and CNS systems company. The cooperation aims to establish joint production capacity within the European Union, with Belgium identified as the preferred location.
CIT PROGRAM’s systems have been shaped and refined under real combat conditions in Ukraine, giving them a unique operational maturity. By partnering with Intersoft Electronics, the companies aim to bring these proven capabilities to the European industrial base, supporting both defense and dual‑use applications.
The partners will prepare a General Agreement covering investment, licensing and production arrangements, and will coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure alignment with European and Ukrainian defense and export‑control regulations.
A key objective of the cooperation is that, should defense production be activated, a significant share of the output may support Ukraine’s defense needs, subject to export‑control approvals and future contractual arrangements.
“Our battlefield‑proven systems are the result of continuous innovation under the most demanding conditions. This partnership ensures that Europe benefits directly from the lessons learned in Ukraine,” said Yaroslav Vaskov, Director of CIT PROGRAM.
“Intersoft Electronics is committed to strengthening European defense capability. By joining forces with CIT PROGRAM, we’re combining Ukrainian frontline experience with Belgian engineering excellence to accelerate the deployment of next‑generation EW and air‑defense technologies,” said Luc Switten, CEO of Intersoft Electronics.
