Intersoft Electronics Joins Strategic EU Initiative “ePerfect” to Secure European Defense Supply Chain

Intersoft Electronics is proud to announce its participation in the ePerfect project, a major European initiative recently funded by the European Defence Fund (EDF). This strategic collaboration aims to secure a fully independent, ITAR-free supply chain for advanced RF-CMOS technology within Europe.

Securing the Future of European Defense

Currently, many critical electronic components used in European defense applications are sourced from outside the continent. This dependence poses a strategic risk, as foreign governments could potentially withhold or delay the supply of vital technology.

The ePerfect project was launched to mitigate this risk. By establishing a non-dependent European supply chain for radiation-hardened, fine-geometry RF-CMOS technologies, the project ensures that Europe can develop its own high-performance Systems on a Chip (SoC) for both space and defense applications without external constraints.

A Strong European Consortium

Intersoft Electronics is honored to work alongside 14 other distinguished partners representing 8 EU Member States (Greece, France, Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, and Finland). Of these partners: Seven are large enterprises: STMicroelectronics, Rheinmetall Italia, Sener, HMK Atlas Electronics, Intersoft Electronics, Leonardo and Safran: three are RTOs: NKUA, Tyndall, IKTS and four are SMEs: ISD, ISD Aerospace, Asygn, Frontgate Gaisler and Spinverse
