Welcome to the RASS® Family!

Congratulations on the purchase of your new RASS® equipment!

We are thrilled to partner with you in achieving the highest standards of radar analysis and performance. To ensure you get the most out of your new system, we’ve put together this quick-start guide to help you get up and running smoothly.

Step 1: Set Up Your Workstation

How you begin depends on whether you purchased a workstation directly from Intersoft Electronics or are using your own hardware.

Option A

You purchased a RASS® Workstation from Intersoft Electronics

Your workstation is plug-and-play. The software, licenses, and calibration files are pre-installed.

Login: When prompted for a password, enter radar.

Note: For security purposes, we strongly recommend changing this password after your first login

Option B

You are using your own Workstation

Locate the USB stick provided with your RASS® device. Follow these three steps:

Tip: Restart your device after installation before performing your first measurement.

IT Restrictions? In case your IT department does not allow you to use a USB stick, you can download the software and calibration installer from our ftp server. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for ftp credentials or to receive your license files via ftp or email.

Licensing & USB Dongle

The RASS® software requires a physical connection to verify your license.

  • Always plug in your USB dongle before launching the RASS software.
  • If the dongle is not detected, the software will display an “Unlicensed” message.

Maintenance and Calibration

To maintain the precision of your measurements, we advise having your equipment calibrated annually, starting from the date of first use.

To request a calibration quote or schedule a calibration under a maintenance contract, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
